I am saddened by this tragic loss of such a beautiful heart and soul, Kevin grew up with my Son, and I remember fondly the group of young people that were always in and out of my house, the loud chatter, the running up and down the stairs to my Son’s room. Annoying in the moment but fond memories now. It wasn’t that long ago I spoke with Kevin on the phone, and still have his cell number in my phone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family now. May you rest in the peace you searched for Kevin. Love Always, Jan- Eddies Mom..

Dear Dagley Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Kevin all the way back to the days we swam for Meridian Woods and Carefree. We stayed in touch all of these years…he helped me with my small mowing business, and was a generally great friend the whole time. In spite of his personal set of issues, I always counted on him for an ear when I needed it, or anything else for that matter. He had a much bigger heart than most people would have realized or believed.
I will miss him.

Kevin, there isnt enough words or space to put everything down. Growing up in Meridian Woods Park Swim team, you going to perry meridian and me Roncalli, I was always the good girl and you the bad boy image.lol Either way, we weren’t different at all. I’m so glad we got in touch the last couple years and talked often. We have more in common than we knew back then. You have a huge heart and would do anything for anyone and not think twice about what it could do to you or cost you. You were always there for anyone. Like calling the jail in Johnson County, when I turned myself in for violation of probation and told the officiers not to keep me in the drunk tank long…and they didn’t…only 4 hours!! lol I’m not sure who has balls to do something like that, but you did. I’ll always remember your last words to me was, “love you baby girl, it will all be ok, just do what your suppose to do”. I’m sure heaven has their hands full now!! Show ’em what a good time is!! Miss you and love ya bro!! xoxo Dagley family, I think I shared this story in the wrong spot. I’m so sorry for your loss…Kevin had a huge heart and always meant well…He’ll always be in my heart and thoughts, as well, as his family. Hope you always rememeber the good times with him. He loved his children tremendously, always talked about them as well. I’m sure he will miss all of you as much as you will miss him. Take care.

I was trying to think of a story about Kevin that I could share here for all who knew him, would say “Yeah, that sounds right” and then smile about it. I have many wild and crazy story’s to tell from our long friendship. Some probably better untold. Instead I think I will share what I will miss most about him. It is not all the nights we were getting crazy and stupid, but the times when we sat around a camp fire, on a deck, or just in the lawn chair in the driveway talking about the little things in life. I can honestly say we had just as much fun, and laughed just as hard, as we did on the times everybody seemed to always talk about later. We were brothers, and always will be. I will always be greatful for your friendship. You will be missed.
Love you brother, Shine on!!

Kevin:
I am sorry that we lost touch after high school. I am glad that we started to pick things back up via Facebook these past several months. I will always remember the way you were in school. There were days that I only went just to see you! I knew that you would make me laugh and smile and forget about life for the rest of the day. Some may think that a teen has the world at their feet, but some teens really do endure a lot of hardship in their home life. I wasn’t one of the lucky ones. It was nothing that my father did, I want that to be clear, he passed away when I was 9 and was loved by everyone. Regardless of who didn’t create a great environment for my sisters and me is beyond the point. My point is that I didn’t have to say a word, as a matter of fact, I don’t think I ever shared my home life with anyone, but Kevin knew that I needed a friend. Someone that would just be there and everything would be OK. I always loved your loyalty and your sense of humor. I know that God is happy to have you and will appreciate your sense of humor, well. He will reward the way that you made others feel special. You were so genuine, that is a gift, my friend. Peace be with you, Kevin. My prayers are with you and your family. Always, Nina
